Important Things To Know: 

PAYMENT: A signed contract & non refundable retainer of 25% to 50% depending on package choice is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due 5 business days prior to your event. All payments can be made via cheque, e-transfer, cash. 

CANCELLATIONS: After signing your contract, all changed made must be in writing and signed by both parties to be effective. If your event is cancelled less than 60 days prior to your event all monies paid will be forfeited and the remaining balance will be due within 2 weeks. 

 POLICY: Blooms and Bowties takes on a small amount of weddings per season to ensure every client is well taken care of. There will never be another wedding the same week of yours. To keep myself and my assistant(s) functioning during your wedding, we are required the same meal as your guests in the dining room. This enables us to watch over your guests, keep the timeline in check and maintain quality assurance. As we work a 12+ hour day, it is imperative that we are kept hydrated and nourished to properly take care of your very important day.

This package is most suitable for the couples that have planned the majority of their wedding but want/need someone to manage all the big and small things on the wedding day. This will help to take the stress off your shoulders and let you enjoy the final few weeks before you say I Do. This package allows us to step in and be your go to person for all your vendors, family and friends who may have questions.

Partial Planning and Coordination 

If you've got the theme, colour palette, dress and tablescapes planned out but are having a hard time smoothing out your budget, seating arrangements, favours and wedding itinerary, then this package is best for you. There are a lot of little pieces that go into a perfectly executed event and partial planning will let you be the leader in all the fun stuff while we take care of the logistics and behind the scenes details.

Full Planning, Coordination and Design

This is our most beneficial package for the bride and groom who want to enjoy their engagement without all the stress of planning. This is ideal for couples with limited time, resources or patience when it comes to fussing over every detail. Weddings are extremely time consuming and can add unnecessary wrinkles or pre-marital bickering even between the most loving couples. You've spent countless hours pinning the perfect wedding and I am here to bring your vision to life.

Styling and Design 

Our design package is great for couples who need assistance with decorating their venue, planning tablescapes, picking the perfect stationary to go with the theme, sourcing supplies and rental items, creating visuals with other vendors to ensure that pin-perfect wedding. You have taken care of all the behind the scenes but need us to bring the magic when it comes to decor. We will find the perfect sequinned linens, the best of the best floral designers and the most swoon worthy calligraphers around. This package can be in addition to any of the above packages.

  • 1 hour complimentary consultation followed by detailed design proposal
  • 2 no charge revisions (every revision thereafter is $25)
  • Vendor recommendations based on budget and style
  • Two site visits
  • Sourcing of wedding suppliers + products
  • Mock up for tablescapes

  • Cocktail lounge design + set up
  • Ceremony, reception design + set up
  • Rental inventory management and coordination

Why you should hire a wedding planner

Time and time again, I hear oh my venue will take care of everything, or my aunt loves planning she will take care of everything or my favourite one to date, my bridesmaid is an event planner (but not really) and she will take care of everything. I love that you have such faith in these people, I really do. BUT... they will not and most importantly can not take care of everything for you. A wedding planner that is not tied to you by family is the only person who can take care of everything that you have been dreaming of for as long as you can remember.

They do this everyday of their lives, they know things that your favourite aunt doesn't. They aren't going to worry about standing at the alter with you while also making sure your tables are set up correctly. They aren't working for the venue making sure the meals come out hot, they are working for you to make sure your bustle doesn't come loose during your first dance, they are greeting your loved ones and making sure your cards and gifts don't go missing. They are guiding you down the aisle at just the right time, smiling and often tearing up from a distance because they can see all of that build up and excitement in your eyes, your shoulders finally relax and you are there, that moment you've been waiting for. They are the ones who light those candles, place your favours just so, making sure the moment you see it all put together is what you've always imagined it to be. They work for you, with you and delight in your day as if it was their own. 

You may want and enjoy all of the planning parts and that is perfectly okay. That was my favourite part too. As an expereinced planner as well as a married woman myself I can promise you that you will want someone to hand it all over to in the last 6 weeks. All newly married couples agree that the last month is the most stressful part of their whole engagement and if they didn't hire a planner they wish they had and the ones that do are so glad they did. You don't want to be the one your limo company calls when they are late or broken down, you don't want to be the person the caterer calls when they can't remember who had the anaphylaxis allergy to shrimp. You don't want to be the one the decor company calls when everything they brought to your wedding was not what you ordered. You don't want to be the one to find out the officiant was planning on wearing croc sandals to your ceremony. You want to know that someone has your back and will take care of all those and more so that you can have the wedding of your dreams.

The number one regret most couples have is that they were too stressed to enjoy the wedding day and it flew by in a blink. You've spent too much time, energy and money NOT to enjoy the most special day of your lives. Hire a planner, have a drink and dance the night away without a care in the world.
